Health card (TSI)
The individual health card (TSI) gives access to the Catalan public health service (CatSalut). CatSalut lists registration on the padrón of a municipality in Catalonia as the basic requirement.
Documents
- Padrón certificate
- Identity document (DNI, NIE or passport)
- Social Security affiliation document, if you have one
Do it yourself
- Read the CatSalut page about access to public health care.
- Request the card online with the CatSalut form, or in person at your primary care centre (CAP).
- CatSalut checks your details with other administrations, such as the padrón and the Social Security, before issuing the card.
The CatSalut page does not state a period for requesting the card.
