Bank account
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs explains that consumers who do not have another payment account in Spain have a right to a basic payment account, without having to buy other products.

- Compare the fees that banks publish. For a basic payment account, the official page gives a maximum of 3 euros a month, and no fee for people in a vulnerable situation.
- Ask for the account at the bank you choose, with your identity document.
- Keep your account number (IBAN) for your salary and bills.
